Day 1 Severe Weather Outlook for Saturday, July 11, 2009...

Discussion...
Basically we're thinking a general 15% slight risk across the board for severe wind and hail threats with the passage of the front and associated storms that fire ahead of the front as well. We decided to hold off on throwing any bulleyes of 30% for now due to potential timing and cloud cover issues that still need resolved a bit. Logan will likely update late this morning before things start happening.

Also, the generic 2% tornado risk is carried throughout entire slight risk zone to cover for some rogue spinners that may develop under the right circumstances. If the sun can manage to get out, we should see some reasonable capes, though the continued lack of for real summer temperatures will likely keep them in check at moderate levels at best.
